Sunil Uplap

Founder & Chairman

Sunil Uplap founded TANCLEAN (renamed as Shubham Acqualink India Pvt Ltd in early 2010). A First Generation Entrepreneur – Mechanical Engineer, and having industry experience of over 33 years, TANCLEAN™, was conceived and developed to become the World’s Largest Professional and Scientific Drinking Water Tank Cleaning System. As ManagingShubham Tanks and Liners, he leads a team of highly dedicated professionals which provides total Water storage solutions in India and the SAARC Countries, as part of the diversified activities. As a part of Shubham Tanks and Liners growth plan which is dedicated to specialized and never-thought-before products and services for the betterment and protection of our environment, Sunil Uplap quickly diversified into water-related applications which had severe challenges in India. Recipient of the “Sankalp Award 2009” as the best Social Enterprise in the Healthcare Sector. The company has also been adjudged with the “Best Franchisor Award” three times in a row in Service-based Franchise opportunity, and also the Essential Services Award on a National platform.

Sneha Uplap

Director

Sneha Uplap plays a pivotal role at Shubham Tanks and Liners Pvt. Ltd., where she oversees General Administration, Accounts and Finance, and Human Resources. With over 18 years of dedicated service to the organization, she has been instrumental in building and streamlining the company’s internal systems, ensuring operational stability and efficiency across functions.

Her deep understanding of the business, combined with a hands-on approach, has helped establish strong financial discipline and a people-centric work culture within the organization. As a key pillar of the company’s foundation, Sneha continues to drive consistency, structure, and long-term sustainability in its day-to-day operations.

Sumit Raina

CEO

Sumit Raina is a seasoned Sales and Marketing leader with over 30 years of experience in driving business growth across B2B and B2C industries. Throughout his career, he has held regional, national, and international leadership positions with renowned organizations, including Diversey India, General Mills, Parker Pens, Onida, and Raymond.

He holds a graduate degree from the University of Delhi, a PGDBM from IMT Ghaziabad, and has completed an Executive Program in Leadership Management from IIM Calcutta.

Sumit brings extensive expertise in business strategy, market expansion, go-to-market execution, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and business transformation. He has successfully launched and scaled new businesses while leading cross-functional and multicultural teams across India and Southeast Asia. His strategic vision, customer-centric approach, and operational excellence continue to drive sustainable growth and innovation.

Ajay Daji Sakpal

Deputy CFO

Ajay Daji Sakpal is a seasoned Accounts and Finance professional with nearly 20 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has held regional and national leadership positions at organizations such as Antony Waste Handling, Choksey Chemicals, Writer Corporation, and Chemspec Chemicals. A graduate of Mumbai University, Ajay also holds an MBA in Finance from ICFAI. He has extensive expertise in securing short- and long-term loans, Forex management, conducting internal, statutory, and government audits, treasury management, and ensuring compliance with GST and tax regulations. Ajay is also highly skilled in fostering strong relationships with tax authorities and financial institutions.

Dr. Sarvesh Uplap

General Manager

With a strong academic foundation and a global perspective, Sarvesh brings a curiosity driven strategic mindset and fresh energy to Shubham Tanks and Liners Pvt. Ltd. In his current role, Sarvesh is focused on building sustainable growth pathways for the company—strengthening core capabilities, exploring emerging markets, and aligning innovation with customer needs. Before joining the family business, he worked with a financial consultancy start-up, gaining experience in data-driven decision-making, strategic planning and entrepreneurial execution. These skills now guide his work at Shubham Tanks and Liners, where he is involved in identifying new market opportunities, shaping the company’s strategic direction, and supporting the company’s evolution in a changing industrial landscape. He holds a Ph.D. from Brandeis University, Boston and a Master’s degree from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai.

Ar. Shreya Uplap

Marketing Head

Shreya Uplap is a second-generation entrepreneur and leads Marketing and Outreach at Shubham Tanks and Liners Pvt. Ltd., where she is driving the company’s brand transformation with a fresh, forward-looking vision. She focuses on brand building, business development, and strengthening the company’s positioning as a thought leader in the liquid storage industry, while helping create a sharper, more contemporary market presence for an already established industry leader.

An architect from Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai, Shreya brings a design-led, strategic perspective shaped by her prior experience in the architecture and design space. She is currently pursuing a Family Business MBA from SP Jain School of Global Management, equipping herself with the tools to scale and modernize the business while carrying forward its legacy.
